Welcome to Brainwaves Preschool, a beautiful boutique early childhood centre in Silverdale, Auckland, licensed for children aged 3 months to 5 years, and open between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
At Brainwaves, we see children from a new perspective. We recognise that every child is smart - it’s just how they are smart that is different. Some are gifted with language, some with numbers and logic. Others connect naturally with those around them, have a strong sense of self and some relate intuitively with nature. Physical movement is the language of some, while others live in the world of colour and art. Some of us move through the world led by music and sound.
Our vibrant and inspiring programme is based on the knowledge that children are natural learners, each developing in their own way, at their own pace, following their own interests, and developing their own inherent strengths.
We aim to offer every child a rich and unique learning experience to give them the best possible start in life and let each child set his or own pace, crafting their own unique journey.
Key to how we think at Brainwaves is the philosophy of Multiple Intelligences, which recognizes eight different intelligences, and asks, “What kind of smart is YOUR child?”.
